Topic: Sir Grows-A-Lot, of the Kingdom of Mindset:
an illuminating and humorous presentation on fixed and growth mindset
Presenter: Beth Slezak
Presentation Description:
Growth Mindset is experienced, for many, as the hero’s journey. As we live our lives, with all its ups and downs and resulting fears and judgment we develop fixed mindsets (believing our abilities are fixed) or growth mindsets (believing ourselves capable to develop our abilities). People with growth mindsets are more likely to thrive.
This presentation helps you find the level of mastery of your abilities that is needful to flourish, leads you through the necessary dialogue skills for good communication, shows you the value of getting off ‘the beaten path’ and helps you mix the saving Elixir of Growth to take back to your village (or workplace, or clients, or etc.). You’ll learn where you are on your growth mindset journey. The how to’s of proper dialogue and productive feedback. How to distinguish between positive messages and growth messages and also how to use productive dialog in client sessions and trainings that encourage a growth mindset.
