Everyone likes to try new tools and programming languages. We will talk about how we at GASTROFIX created a new project that replaces our existing core functionality. The fresh start brought a large number of benefits together with a modern tool set (Swift code, great code coverage), while allowing us to continue with the rapid delivery of the existing app.
Anton has been doing iOS development professionally since 2009. He joined GASTROFIX as Senior iOS Developer 2 years ago and is currently responsible for the iOS team.

Debugging network traffic on iOS apps is always like trying to understand a blackbox. On top of that, existing tools are not always serving all the needs. We are going to show the necessary steps to build a powerful network debugging infrastructure and will introduce a framework that already serves that purpose.
Cornelius and Pascal came up with the idea of creating a network debugging infrastructure while working at TBO Interactive, a Berlin based agency. It found usage in projects such as Wetter.com and the Antenne Bayern radio app. Nowadays Cornelius works at Amboss, helping to provide better medical knowledge and Pascal works at Vimcar and revolutionises fleet management.
