Open Data Day 2019!

Details
Code for New Orleans is partnering with Committee for a Better New Orleans to host an Open Data Day event here in New Orleans focused on your city budget.
(We know Open Data Day was actually March 3, but were you really going to come out to an event like this on Mardi Gras weekend?)
Come out and learn about how city budgeting is done, discuss your concerns and priorities for the budget in the coming year, and see if you can find a way to fund all the priorities while balancing the budget.
Celebrate open data with us!
Who:
The Committee for a Better New Orleans is hosting an Open Data Day event in partnership with Open Knowledge International, the Hispanic Young Leaders of Louisiana, and Code for New Orleans. City leaders are also invited to attend to talk about their goals for 2019.
What:
Open data, or data from public sources, fuels CBNO's newest program, the Big Easy Budget Game, which asks New Orleanians to balance the city budget.
Where:
Check out the newest beer garden on the Lafitte Greenway, Wrong Iron, at 3532 Toulouse. Better yet, hop on your bike! Ample bike parking is available.
Complimentary food and a cash bar will be available. This event is free and open to everyone of all sectors. Children and dogs are welcome (and encouraged!).
