What we're about

All Code for Orlando 2021 events will be held virtually online unless otherwise stated.

Code for Orlando, a local Code for America Brigade, brings the community together to improve Orlando through technology. We are a group of “civic hackers” from various disciplines who are committed to volunteering our talents to make a difference. We unite to improve the way residents and local government experience Orlando.

See what kind of things Brigades do, or watch the inspirational TED talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4EhJ898r-k) given by Jennifer Pahlka, the founder of Code for America.

We are a non-partisan civic action oriented meetup of coders, designers, activists, policy nerds, data lovers, writers, and concerned citizens. It's not up to other people to create the kind of positive change our community needs, it's up to us!

Learn, share and work together on ideas and tech projects that improve the Orlando community.
