šDemo Day

Details
For this month's Meet Up we will be hosting a Demo Day!
Demo Day is a new, quarterly occurring meeting where teams can show off what they have been working on for the community! We are all volunteers using open/public data, working with the City of Orlando, and community to solve problems using our skills as developers and designers, and do-ers!
If you are curious about Code for Orlando and what we do, this is a great meet night to attend! We are always looking for subject matter experts in the areas we are trying to solve problems, as well as concerned citizens who want to help us in our missions!
In between Demo Days we have our regular Open Hack Nights where we sync up and work on these projects for the community.
Agenda Goes as Follows:
6:00-6:45pm - Socialize + Fuel with snacks.
6:45pm - Welcome from Andrew and Erin, Co-Captains.
7:00pm - Orlando Walking Tours App, Lead: Keli'i' Martin
7:30pm - One Person One Tree App, Lead Tom Marks
8:00pm - Road Closures Project, Lead Cassie Wilcox
Feel free to come by and meet everyone, and maybe find a project you would like to contribute to. If you want to get involved in our organization we can help you do that!
Code for Orlando, a local Code for America brigade, brings the community together to improve Orlando through technology. We are a group of ācivic hackersā from various disciplines who are committed to volunteering our talents to make a difference in the local community through technology. We unite to improve the way the community, visitors, and local government experience Orlando.
