Sidewalk Field Mapping
Details
Grab some friends (or yourself) and join us downtown to map all the curb cuts! We'll be splitting off into small groups and walking around to mark down curb cuts on paper maps.
Schedule:
1:00-1:15pm Intro
1:15-1:30pm Break off into groups and set up with materials
1:30-2:30pm Walk & Map
2:30-2:40pm Regroup & Wrap-up
After 2:40pm Hang out & grab a treat
What to Bring:
-Good walking shoes
-Water
-Enthusiastic attitude
Transportation:
-From UVA, the Trolley, 7, and 9 can be ridden. I recommend getting off at the E Market St at 2nd St NE Stop.
-If you're driving, there are nearby parking garages where the first hour is free and $2/hr after. There is also nearby on-street parking, but there is no guarantee.
