New Member + Work Night
Interested in Code for Fort Collins? Want to use technology to help your community? Come join us and learn what we are about. In short: Code for Fort Collins is an organization where volunteers use their technical skills to build projects to have a positive community impact. Everyone is welcome; it takes a lot more than programmers to make this happen—and we need your help. Our New Member Nights are organized to help new member understand Code for Fort Collins's mission, projects, and how to get involved. After we've covered that, we'll typically start to work. Your first project is figuring out how you’ll contribute to CFFC. 🤓 You can learn more about Code for Fort Collins @ (

What we're about

Code for Fort Collins ( ) is an organization for volunteers to use their (non)technical skills to improve Fort Collins. We are a part of the Code for America Brigade Network (, which is a loose affiliation of member-driven grass-roots organizations all trying to make their local communities better.

* For Homeward 2020, we helps them to visualize data they were gathering about homelessness in the community using Tableau (

* For our members' interest in "open data" we're using a city solar permitting data chart how it's doing compared to its ambitious climate goals ( The project is using Vue JS.

We're always looking for new projects. Please let us know if you've got an idea. You can email or show up for a meeting.

We also need lots of non-code volunteers! Most directly, we're seeking people to build awareness of us in the community (to find new projects, and get more volunteers) and people who can help us keep our
