Weekly Open Hack Night & Mike Sarasti Chief Innovation Officer, City of Miami
• What we'll do Join Mike Sarasti, Chief Innovation Officer to the City of Miami as he presents recently released open data, a new automated tree permitting notification system for residents, updates to the city website, and introduces the new project manager for IoT and Data Anthony Marvin! Weekly Open Hacknight will commence immediately after. Weekly civic hack sessions will also commence. Anyone interested in civic hacking and engagement is welcome. • What to bring As always, bring a laptop; beginners are always welcome! • Important to know You can contribute to an existing Code for Miami Project (see our projects at http://codefor.miami/projects ) or come share your idea, and maybe start a new collaboration. We ask that participants at Code for Miami events follow our Code of Conduct (https://github.com/Code-for-Miami/codeofconduct) to ensure that our group is a safe and welcoming space.
