What we're about

We are now on GetTogether! This meetup group is no longer active, and we won't be putting events on here anymore. Please find us at our GetTogether page! Thanks for being a part of our community!

We are a group of civic developers, designers, storytellers and policy leaders who are part of the Code for America Brigade network, and who contribute their skills toward using the web as a platform for local government and community service, as well as providing a skill-sharing environment to further local area tech education.
We have a special connection to the education community, and held our weekly meetings at the Arlington Career Center. However, due to the pandemic, we will be meeting virtually over the summer. Join us June 24th to learn more.

Code for NoVA hosts weekly meetups. These are organized, but informal gatherings of coders, designers, community activists, etc that are working on on-going projects. Come by to get plugged into one of the projects, or just meet with one of the organizers (ask for Randy, Jeff, Michelle or Matt when you walk in) to talk about ways to get more involved in the civic hacking community in northern Virginia.
