Civic Hack Night & Map Night

Join us for Civic Hack Night, where community members use their skills to make San José, and the South Bay, a better place.

Once a month, the local OpenStreetMap community joins us to improve South Bay coverage and welcome new mappers.

Food & Water
We will provide light appetizers. There will be a food truck and cafe where you can purchase food and drinks. There is no tap water available at this venue. We encourage you to bring your reusable water bottle filled with water.

Backyard San José is close to VTA light rail and bus lines (go to vta.org for more information), and a scooter/bike-ride down from the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station. Backyard San Jose is located in Fountain Alley Lot at 35 S 2nd Street, San Jose, CA 95113.

Parking:
The closest parking garage on 2nd and San Carlos is $5 flat rate after 6pm on weekdays. For a map of all downtown parking: https://parksj.org/parking-map/. There is no parking validation at this venue. Some nearby businesses may validate parking.
