What we're about

We are all CodeMortals, there are NO rockstars, ninjas or wizards here! As Code Mortals we are all always learning, so we should learn together and share what we learn (as that's another way to get even better).

We plan to do in-person meet-ups that will range from talks to workshops and also online live streams on our YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtjddf97i066cJVcloZ4B7g?sub_confirmation=1) channel - we have done a few already including Angular+Cypress->CI->CD->Firebase

We are also keen to get an understanding of what type of events and topics you would like to see. Lets chat more ... :)

Talk: Build and publish your own Angular library

The Microsoft Reactor London

This will be a "code with us" demonstration, you are welcome to follow along with your own laptop, however this will not be run as a workshop. All code will be made available on GitHub. We will be deep diving into some of the more complex capabilities of Angular, previous use of Angular is recommended but not required. If you come from a React background you may find this of interest. * Objective Create your own reusable library, this might be to manage a consistent brand across projects, or common page elements / capabilities. This will help to explain how other libraries like Angular Material are built using the Angular Framework. * What to expect We will be building some Angular components using "advanced" techniques, including; - Custom form input component - Reusable design component - A markdown rendering directive This can then be published as a reusable library onto NPM using Continuous Integration. We shall then briefly visit using this library within your project. ----- This meetup will also be available on our YouTube channel, don't forget to subscribe to show your support and be notified. https://youtube.com/codemortals
