CodeUp Stockport November Monthly Session

Remember, remember, the 27th of November, CodeUp, Stockport, The Hub.

Yes, we're back at the Bredbury Hub (https://twitter.com/bredburyhub) from 7pm on the 27th November for more code related discussion and learning. This is likely to be our last Meetup of 2017!! (as we didn't think you'd want to meet on Christmas day)

The coding legend that is Mike Little will guide us through making a custom Wordpress plugin. We'll get hands on writing code to make modify how Wordpress behaves.

If you have any side projects that you need help with or just fancy showing off, then bring them along and we'll give you any help that you need.

As always, our mentors will be free to help you with any burning questions you have, so just shout (politely) at someone wearing a 'Mentor' lanyard if you get stuck.

Don't forget to let us know if you want access to the CodeUp Facebook group, a place where you can get involved outside of the sessions.

If you haven't been to one of our sessions before then don't worry, we're a friendly bunch and we'll get you started.

CodeUp Stockport is a mentoring program for adults who would like to learn how to code for free. Once a month we provide a workspace for people with no programming skills to come and learn the basics, with mentors available to answer your questions and help you on your way. Our sessions are suitable for people with basic skills who need support, and even for people with intermediate or advanced skills who want a space where everyone is immersed in code!

We'll provide a supportive space to work - just bring your laptop, your curiosity and your hunger to learn!

NB If you are coming to CodeUp with a very specific question or problem, please comment with details so we can try to have a mentor in attendance who can help you!

One more thing, there are some free parking spaces available, but please only use those marked with an "M".
