Dorothy Emanuel Rec Center - Coded by Kids Community Tech Week Events

To celebrate Philly Tech Week, Coded by Kids is taking over recreation centers across the city to hold interactive sessions for Philadelphia residents and their families. The sessions will dedicate an hour each to the following topics:

Coding 101: Want to learn more about coding but aren’t sure where to start? Attend this session to learn basic coding concepts in a welcoming environment where questions are not only answered, but encouraged.

Intro to the Philly Tech Community: New to the Philly Tech Scene and want to learn more? This session will give attendees the inside scoop on what’s happening in the Philly tech community, introduce them to some of the community-driven tech organizations and provide them with info on how to get involved. Each session is open to all members of the community--no prior tech experience required!
