Lean Poker @ Morgan Stanley

Due to the success of the new Lean Poker format we will do one more event this spring. Lean Poker is a continuous delivery and lean startup workshop built around a robot poker tournament. You don't need to know poker, will teach you in the first half an hour! There is no price for the winner except for a round of beer the other teams may (or may not) invite them for. However we promise that you are going to learn a lot and have lot's of fun.

The event is free. The place and the free lunch is sponsored by Morgan Stanley. All you need to take is a laptop (if you can) with a development environment set up for any of the supported languages: C++, Go, Haskell, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Python and Ruby. (If you wish you can implement the player for any other language, it takes about an hour, but please do that before you come to the event.)

IMPOTANT: You must register before 3pm, Friday (April 25.) because otherwise they won't let you in at the reception!

Az új Lean Poker formátum sikere tekintettel, a tavaszi szezonban meg egy alkalommal megrendezzük. A lean startup és a continuous delivery jegyében pókerversenyt fogunk tartani, ahol azonban nem mi játszunk, hanem a programok, amiket aznap írunk! A jutalom a jó hangulat, a finom ebéd, és az új tapasztalatok, amikre a nap folyamán szert teszünk. A helyszínről és az ebédről a Morgan Stanley gondoskodik, de laptopot, működőképes fejlesztőkörnyezetet legalább egy (ízlés szerint több) platformhoz, valamint opcionálisan kedvenc-billentyűzetet és kísérletező kedvet nektek kell hozni.

Előkészületnek, ajánlott olvasmány: leanpoker.org -- ugyanitt beszerezhető a szerver, illetve a kliensek több programozási nyelvhez. Jelen pillanatban C++, Go, Haskell, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Python és Ruby kliens van. Ha más nyelvet választanál, ne csüggedj: az oldalon található infók alapján kb 1,5-2 óra alatt bármilyen nyelvhez legyártható.

Az esemény után akinek van kedve csatlakozhat hozzánk egy sörre a Kamra Campus-ban, és persze a nyerteseket meg lehet hívni egy korre.

FONTOS: A portánál nev szerint engednek majd be, ezert csak Aprilis 25.-en delutan 3 oraig nyitott a regisztracio, utana lezarjuk.
