Come celebrate the Year of the Rat!

Details
In Chinese mythology, the Jade Emperor held a race that would determine which animals would be included in the zodiac, as well as their order within. Being the social engineer that he was, the Rat tricked the Ox into giving him a ride for the entire race. When they reached the finish line, the Rat leapt off the Ox, and got first place. Since then, the Rat has become a symbol of quick and clever thinking in Chinese culture, and an inspiration to coders and creatives as well!
Chinese New Year falls on January 25, 2020, and it’s the Year of the Rat! Join us as we ring in both Western and Chinese New Year.
The new year is also a great time to look for work. This is when hiring managers have new hiring budgets, people are back from the holidays, and companies have a backlog of hiring because they typically hold back on new hires in November and December. This is a great time to network, and Coders, Creatives, and Craft Beer is a great place to do it!
Coders, Creatives, and Craft Beer is just what it says on the label: a new regular gathering of coders and creatives over craft beer! We’re pretty flexible on the definition of “creative”, and it doesn’t matter if you express your creativity in the form of programs, prose, poetry, paint, pitch-bends, processor chips, or project management — if you create and like craft beer, this is the meetup for you!
Come to meet people, talk shop, share ideas, support a local business, and enjoy some fine craft beer and food (available at the food truck outside)! We’d love to see you there!
