Featured workshop: git-it
Git-it walks you through the basics of setting up and configuring the distributed version control system Git (http://git-scm.com/) and the most popular site for social coding GitHub (https://github.com/). This is an important skill as much of the Node.js infrastructure is hosted on GitHub. This workshop takes about an hour.
As always you can work on any workshop (http://nodeschool.io/#workshopper-list) you want. We strongly encourage you to finish last month's module learnyounode after completing git-it.
Food at 6:30. Class is in session at 7PM. Bring your laptop.
This is an interactive workshop, not a presentation. Come work through Nodeschool (http://nodeschool.io) workshops in a group setting.
No experience necessary. We will help you set up there will be lots of people there for group support. Work at your own pace and level.
