Come checkout our projects and works-in-progress and hack on them. There will be rough edges, // TODOs, and "that shouldn't happen"s. You will get to clone each project, get it running locally, and make changes. This is a good opportunity to see how real node projects are set up.
We have 3 projects to show so far. Message the organizers if you'd like to show off your project. It doesn't have to be a finished project or highly polished, even just a 5 minute demo is outstanding.
Projects so far:
A cloud connected ecommerce "magic mirror" that can show you product info, let you try on clothes, and give you a code to complete checkout on your phone. This project uses Rasberry Pi, AWS, Node, Socket.io, Angular. The hardware will be there to demonstrate and you will be able to run your version locally. Check back in on the task reminder service from the March meetup. It kind of works now! This is a Node app with an Angular front end and it's set up to run in Docker so your local version will behave exactly like the deployed version. Team spirit illuminated sign that flashes whenever [your team] scores in a game. Node.js on a Rasberry Pi.
