BRING A LAPTOP - this is a hands on interactive workshop.

You will need a free IBM Cloud account to do the exercise. You can sign up ahead of time here: https://ibm.biz/BdZnLg or do it at the meetup.

Node-RED is a programming tool written in Node JS for wiring together hardware devices, APIs and online services in new and interesting ways. In this workshop we will use Node RED to use Watson services to bring a little robot to life.

Meetup format:

  • 6:30 - food & socialization
  • 7:00 - Brief (15 minute) presentation where we give introductions, present news links and make any other announcements. Then we introduce the workshop of the night
  • 7:15 party till you drop interactive, hands-on, programming workshop
