Speaker Event: Working Remotely w/ the Call of Duty Companion App Team

To secure your spot, and receive more informational material please be sure to RSVP on our website here: https://codesmith.io/coding-events/858 The Call of Duty Companion App is a large React Native Application. In this online event, the Call of Duty Companion App Team will share how their engineering team works together to successfully complete projects and deliver features to meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. Join us on Wednesday, July 15th at 5:30pm PT / 8:30pm ET to learn what it takes to build the Call of Duty Companion App, what it's like working at Activision Blizzard, and how software engineers coordinate and work together to deliver content remotely. There will also be time at the end for Q&A. Meet the Speakers: Jason Walker, Tim Jung, and Ricky Romero are a part of the Call of Duty Companion App Team at the Activision Blizzard HQ in Santa Monica. We were excited to welcome them to Codesmith for a SoCal React Meetup last year to talk about React Native, and we're thrilled to have them back this year to speak about how they are working together as a team in a remote setting. This time, they will be joined by Gatlin Rowe, another one of the original developers of the COD companion app who works remotely from North Carolina. Along with Mobile Development, Gatlin has a history of working in Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality platforms. All being nerds at heart, the COD Companion App team spends their free time playing video games, hacking together projects, and constantly learning. In order to maintain a supportive and safe learning environment, all event attendees are required to follow Codesmith's Event Code of Conduct (https://codesmithdocs.s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/Codesmith+Documents/Code+of+Conduct+-+Events.pdf).
