Meet some other folks programming on the Sunshine Coast. All skill levels welcome. The idea is to meet socially and possibly if we people interested in presenting get some updates and chat about new tech.
No posting job adverts to the group or direct recruiting or marketing companies or services.
Our reason for this is simple, we aim to have a high bandwidth environment for safely sharing and learning about programming.

Vibe Coding meets Vibe Hardware'ing
Peregian Digital Hub, 253-255 David Low Way, Peregian Beach, al, AUCome along to the March Coding from Beach meetup for a workshop on how to build your own hardware projects with this assistance of AI coding agents.
In this workshop, we will learn how to use coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to help you write programs for the esp32 microcontroller which acts as a brain for your hardware projects.
What you’ll need:
An esp32 device
A usb-c cable to connect it to your computer (for power and data)
A charged laptop

How to connect them to your computer to program them
How to get your coding agent to see the device
How to prompt your coding agent to build programs for the device
How to transfer programs onto the device

If you don’t already have an esp32 from previous projects or the cfb session we ran previously on esp32’s then you need to jump on Aliexpress and buy one. They are generally less than $10. It doesn’t really matter which one you buy - the workshop will cover off how to work with any esp32.
