Hello everyone! I'm Ranajit.
Welcome to Dinner With Strangers. The idea is simple — we gather in small groups of up to six people, try out different restaurants, and spend the evening in good conversation.
Come prepared not just to enjoy the food, but also to engage with the people around the table. This is about discovering new flavours and new stories.
Two rules to keep in mind:
- As these are dining events, eating is mandatory.
- Only members with a real photo and full name will be allowed to join.

Dinner with Strangers: November Edition

The Venue: The Telegraph by Olivia, located at Guoco Midtown, bringing an all-day dining experience and a sophisticated bistro vibe to the heart of the city. Bathed in natural light throughout the day, the restaurant transforms into a warm and inviting space, perfect for any occasion. Indulge in a wide selection of food options and beverage offerings. What to Expect: You and up to seven other strangers, all of whom are (hopefully) as social and chatty as you. And hopefully enjoyable food. Menus here.
The Date & Time: 630PM on Saturday, Nov. 8.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- When you sign up, transfer me $20 (PayNow/PayLah 8152 7329) to reserve your spot. The $20 will be deducted from your share of the bill at the end of the evening. (If by any chance I need to cancel the event, or it's overbooked, I will transfer you the $20 back.)
- This is a dinner event. By signing up, you are committing to eat dinner there with the group. (Sorry if this is a very basic thing, but I've previously had people turn up and not order anything, or ask to "drop by for just a drink").
- No guests/+1s. Where is the fun of dining with strangers if you are already familiar with another person there?
