Join our growing volunteer trail force as we tackle maintenance needs on the Horseshoe Bend trail. An effect of the historic 2016 Rough Ridge wildfire has been a profusion of ground vegetation and numerous fallen trees. We will rehab the trail by trimming back trail-side vegetation and removing woody debris and fallen trees (blowdowns). Our moderate hike will total 6-7 round-trip miles.
What to Bring? work gloves, sturdy footwear, lunch, 1-2 liters of water, and a daypack to carry it in. Long pants are recommended.
