Soco Restaurant features Southern Contemporary Cuisine with a progressive culinary approach under the direction of award-winning Executive Chef/Partner Greg Richie. The restaurant offers genuine southern hospitality in a warm and welcoming environment. For me, the menu is one of those that you could really order one of everything on. Delicious! And the service is great!. I certainly feel this is one to the beast brunch places around. Hope to see you on Sunday, 27th, 1200 noon. The parking garage for Soco Restaurant is located at Thornton Park Central. The parking entrance is located at the west side of the building, on North Eola Drive. I believe there are parking fees at the garage. I believe street parking is free, but fills up fast.

The first NGN was so much fun, thanks to host Cindy Price and getting to know great fun neighbors, and new friends, so we decided to do it again. BYOB and shareable snack. If you have a great game bring that too! Cards Against Humanity already on the list. :-) Food and drink will start when folks arrive. We'll get acquainted with new neighbors and friends, and games will start about 8:30 or 9. Beware! We lost track of time by several hours...
This has been a favorite event in the past. Several people asked about when we're going back and to make it a regular event, so here it is! This is a Happy Hour that delivers it ALL. Top Quality Food with items starting at $8, Great ambiance and first class customer service. The Happy Hour Menu currently includes: 1. Their extremely popular Top Tenderloin Steak Sandwich with Fries. This is a meal not a snack. $10 2. Their amazing Half Pound Prime Burger with Fries. My favorite pure burger not only in the area but anywhere. Another meal for those with a bigger appetite. $9 3. Their yummy Zucchini Fries. This is another favorite. $8 4. Spicy Shrimp. Lots of flavor but not quite big enough for me as a meal. On occasions, I'll have this as an appetizer to whet my appetite. Those with smaller appetites might find this filling enough. $9 5. Seared Ahi Slices with a spicy sauce. Much like the Spicy Shrimp, I love this dish but it usually only serves as an appetizer for me. $10 6. An Artisan Chicken Sandwich for those wanting neither beef or seafood. Comes with a small yummy berry and arugula salad. $9 7. Crab Beignets. 5 Little balls of flavor with a little kick. Probably my favorite item however it is just a small appetizer for those with a bigger appetite. $10 8. Burrata Cheese and Herbed Gremolata. $8 9. Goat cheese and artichoke dip. 8. There are also several drink specials and their Happy Hour Cabernet is a favorite of many Oenophiles. Yes, they do Happy Hour here on Sundays and the bar does open at 4:30. This is at their restaurant in the Winter Park Village shopping center, just off of 17-92. I'm looking forward to seeing a good group here. This event has a limit of about 20 attendees due to their limited seating. Please honor and respect others in the group with your RSVP. Be early to make sure you get a seat. There are no reservations and we share the area with other patrons. While we are welcome to stay longer, the Happy Hour prices end at 6:30 pm. Those with a history of No Shows or late cancellations will be moved to Not Going by the Event Organizer to make room for responsible attendance. Contact me if you have any questions.
