Tech Talk: Mixing Augmented Reality with Autonomous Vehicles

Details
DETAILS:
Augmented Reality will impact Autonomous Vehicles in two major ways: safety and content. AR/vehicle safety practices will be governed by technical concerns, economics, and governmental forces.
AR content for vehicles, however, is an exciting new media full of possibilities and questions. How can the realities of transportation be augmented for informative, educational, and entertainment purposes? Will AR result in "moving" communal media experiences, or be a continuation of the 'one person/one viewing device' pattern of media consumption? What kinds of digital media can be connected to the physical world outside of the windows of a moving vehicle?
Original thoughts and research on these ideas make this presentation a must for those interested in the interaction between AR and AVs.
SPEAKER:
