Experience a day at the beach with your fellow misfits! Park your stuff and relax on the sand, tan in the sun, hop in the waves, read a good book, play some games, eat snacks, and repeat. Volleyball courts are open if anyone feels like playing an active game.
This is a super chill gathering. Arrive whenever. BYOF/BYOB or walk down to Shoreline Village minutes from the beach for plenty of tasty food options if you get hungry.
You guys are welcome to bring games if you have them. 😀

Get some fresh air and good energy from Fairview Park, a public park with diverse greenery, a pond, plus a pedestrian trail system & biking area. The Talbert Nature Reserve Trail is a 6.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
We'll cut through Fairview Park and walk the trail clock-wise, step down the short flight of stairs into the shaded garden area for a quick rest and watch the many cute critters munching on the grass, then head back up the trail to the park's exterior and feel rejuvenated. 😌
This is a mostly flat hike with very minor elevation. We’ll be going at a casual pace.
Parking is free but if it gets too crowded there’s space available at the high school next door, at your own risk of towing.
