A reliable resource for Independent and Emergent filmmakers in Colorado, the Colorado Filmmaking Incubator provides an environment where people from all disciplines of filmmaking can meet to share experiences, problem solve, bounce around ideas, and cooperate to make their films a reality. Our members find that the opportunity to network and collaborate can be invaluable in helping a project reach its highest level of quality.

Working on your own projects? You may screen your work at our monthly meetings. Want to work on a project? Network with other filmmakers to get on board. Or… join in one of the Incubator’s Showcase group projects.

WIFMCO Heads to Boulder! Women in Film & Media Colorado rolls into town with board members and new board candidates in tow to discuss the makings of a filmmaking career in Colorado—and the impact that community has on success. In a frank conversation about the challenges as well as the success stories, we’ll share our do’s and don’t’s and the ah ha moments that keep us moving forward—and provide pro tips and resources for our Boulder co-hort. President Trai Cartwright is a 25 year entertainment industry pro who worked as a screenwriter, indie film producer, and development executive at the studio level in Los Angeles. Now she writes, produces shorts and web series, and teaches film at UC Denver and Western Colorado University. Vice President Kathryn Gould is a writer, producer, actress and director who frequently travels to LA to consult on her West Coast projects. This year alone, Room 212, the film she co-wrote, landed distribution, she produced a short film called The Goblin’s Giggle, and she performed in a range of projects. Women in Film & Media Colorado is a 3-year organization dedicated to the advancement of Colorado filmmaking through education, fiscal support, and networking. -- We meet at Medium Studio at 1401 Walnut St. If the door is locked when you get there, text Matt at[masked] Cost is $5 Bring a short film to share.
