What we're about
Upcoming events (4+)
This is our 3rd CSCC Monday Night Dinner ride for 2022. The evening sun is lasting longer. Starting this week meet and sign in around 5:15, and try to start the ride about 5:30. Maybe a few more people can join us after they get off work.
Weather forecasters predicts mild breezes, temps around mid-80'F for Monday (5/16). SOOOOOO we will meet starting around 5:15pm at our usual location at University Village (UV) in the parking lot north of Panera Bread. We'll pick our route while signing the ride sheet. With this weather we can eat outside at either SmashBurger or Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza. We are flexible! I always check the KRDO Doppler Radar at https://krdo.com/weather/live-hd-doppler before I take a ride.
RSVP is appreciated but not required to participate. Barb and I will be at Panera Monday around 5;10 pm at least for dinner - join us regardless of the weather.
Tour de Latte is a casual ride stopping at a different independent coffee house each week.

We start the season with shorter and easier (10-12 miles) rides in late Spring. Over the course of the summer, the ride will gradually increase in distance and difficulty (15 - 20+ miles with more hills), always maintaining an easy pace (8-10 mph) and regrouping occasionally. It is always a no drop, led social ride, with posting at corners and sweeps designated.

Saturday Resort Rides are year-round road rides sponsored by the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort and Club. They are open to the community. The rides are an included ride of the Colorado Springs Cycling Club Go to bikesprings.org for more information and to join. Annual memberships available for about $21 and help cover insurance.
We typically ride for two hours at an intermediate pace with options for faster riders to challenge each other. We are a no drop ride and have an appointed sweep or last rider to make sure we keep together and in case of any mechanical issues.
Many of our rides include the Garden of the Gods (in our backyard) and other destinations including the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Gold Camp Road and 7 Falls, Manitou Springs, Flying W Ranch Road & Blodgett Peak. We also make lots of use of the Midland Trail, Greenway Trail, Sinton Trail and Foothill Trails.
On the first Saturday’s of each month (except December 3, 2022 when we sponsor the Cycling Santa 15 mile), we ride to Glen Eyrie Castle by special permission.
Please come ready to ride, with tires aired, helmet and water.
Sign in begins at 9:45 a.m. and we roll out at 10:00 a.m.
Please park at the back of property and not in front of the Lodge or Guest Rooms.
We usually enjoy hanging out and having a drink (alcohol and non-alcoholic) after the rides at the Buffalo Lodge Watering Hole.
Watch for other Meetups we gather as a group to participate in other Colorado Rides and Events.

Our May 2022 Member Meeting will be hosted by our very own Rich Hostak. Bring a snack and/or beverage to share.
While this will be a primarily social event, at 6:30 pm we will present a brief video of bicycling interest and share a few announcements for upcoming activities. We will set up Zoom as we have recently for those that cannot attend in person.
Jerseys pre-ordering has been extended through May 23 and we will be taking orders at the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you!
