Shaft House via Goose Creek Trail

***7:30 am - MEET at dirt lot just east of Venture Foods on Hwy 24 (11115 US-24, Divide, CO 80814) to carpool to Trailhead about 75 minutes away.

***SIGN IN and BUDDY System Required!

***This trail is about 11 miles moderate out and back with about 1700 ft elevation gain total. Great rock formations and unique ruins are nice rewards on this hike!

***Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are welcomed (leashed).

***WEATHER: 84 degrees and sunny

***NEEDED: Water (lots), snacks, hiking poles, sunglasses, layer clothing, hat, sunscreen and snacks/drinks to share. Always be prepared with water, food, safety equipment (whistle, bear spray, poncho/ hand and foot warmers, matches, your medication, flashlight etc), gps trail tracker like Cotrex or Alltrails and first aid items.
