Monday Night Meditation
• What we'll do Embrace the New Year by learning to Meditate. Our Introductory meditation sessions (spread over 4 classes) are designed to bring you joy and peace through meditation. Participants will learn and practice a simple, practical technique called Jyoti Meditation. One can sign up for the challenge of meditating 42 days thereby making it a permanent habit. We recommend attending all of the classes for maximum benefit. This is an interactive course of study that will introduce you to meditation on inner light, and help discover the peace and happiness! No prior experience necessary. WATCH Intro Video: All Classes are free, No Cost, No Donation, but RSVP is required. Introductory classes begin every four weeks. If your plans change after signing up, please cancel the tickets so that seats can be oferred to other participants. What we're about

My name is Nina Elliott. I am passionate about helping people come into harmony physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually--and meditation does that! Meditation has helped me in so many ways, I can't keep it to myself--I have to share it with everyone I can! I consider myself a long term student of spirituality and meditation, and I study with Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, an internationally renowned author, meditation teacher, and spiritual leader. About Our Group:

The theme of the group will be meditation in the Sant Mat tradition (customarily translated as The Path of the Masters). This is a silent meditation technique that facilitates spiritual awareness and growth.

I hope to create a space where everyone feels welcome and we enjoy our time together. Thank you to other meetup group coordinators of Baltimore Vegetarian Group, Columbia Insight Meditation Group, and ZenAdventures for letting their members know about us.

Sometimes the hardest part of meditation is finding the time in your day. I think having a place to go, an appointment, makes it easier to fit that into your schedule. These meditation meet ups will offer something to everyone, so no matter where you are in your meditation journey, you'll find something helpful. I'll offer a place where you can come to learn meditation, discover ways to improve your meditation practice, and have time to just sit in silence for meditation. There will also be a chance to learn more about the Sant Mat teachings with opportunities to ask questions and share with one another as well.

Meetings will generally be held at Nourishing Journey Wellness Center in Columbia, MD.
