What we're about

We are a Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) group. We primarily focus on the medieval German tradition of Johannes Liechtenauer, but study other weapons such as spear, poleaxe, sword and buckler, and ringen or wrestling. Our primary goal is an authentic recreation of the martial arts practiced in Europe from c. 1300-1600. Classes are held every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 at Royal Arts Fencing Academy, 770 Westbourne Ave, Columbus, OH 43213 (https://royalarts.org/). No prior martial arts experience is necessary. Our regular practice consists of a warm up, a lesson by one of our instructors, and free sparring. If you are interested, please contact Frank at fzamary53@gmail.com or Jaron at krovos@hotmail.com.
