A couple of movie events this week! Coming up tomorrow (Tues, 12/1) is a special $5 Tuesday event to see a thriller based on the foreign film and novel: SECRET IN THEIR EYES, starring Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor! Confirmed details for this event can be found below! And don’t miss joining us at the Drexel Theatre this Friday, 12/4 for the beautiful and moving Oscar Watch film, BROOKLYN!  Brooklyn arrives with an unheard of 99% positive RT rating and is already racking up quite a few awards! Details for this event will be confirmed and announced later this week. Other events on the calendar include the Toronto Film Fest winner ROOM and our CMG HORROR/THRILLER SERIES event to see KRAMPUS! $5 TUESDAY: SECRET IN THEIR EYES on Tues, Dec 1 at Marcus Crosswoods!

  • Join us as we start of December with Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman & Chiwetel Ejiofor in the mystery thriller, SECRET IN THEIR EYES!
  • PLAN: Purchase your ticket for the 7:15pm showing at Marcus Crosswoods and meet inside the theater lobby 6:45pm and 7:00pm. BROOKLYN on Friday, December 4th at the Drexel Theatre!

TORONTO FILM FEST WINNER: ROOM on Tuesday, December 8th at AMC Lennox!

  • Join us this week as we get together to see this long-awaited survival tale and the winner of the People’s Choice Award at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival: ROOM!
  • DESCRIPTION: A woman and her 5-year old son are kidnapped and held captive in a garden shed. Escaping from the captivity in which they have been held for half a decade, they struggle to adjust to the strange, terrifying and wondrous world outside their one-room prison. Room is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and stars Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay in a couple of award-worthy performances along with Joan Allen and William H. Macy.
