What we're about

The Comal River Riders Club is a formal club that was established in 2002. We are a diversified group of casual motorcycle enthusiasts. All makes and models of motorcycles and scooters (as defined by Texas law as of 2/5/2018) of 400cc or greater are welcome. Our rides vary in distance and are scheduled on both weekends and weekdays. We are looking for those willing to become active participants on our rides and monthly club meetings. We encourage you to attend one of our club meetings and/or join us on a ride prior to joining to "take us for test ride" to see if we're your kind of club. You'll have a minimum of 30 days to "try us out" before payment of dues is required. Just show up and introduce yourself. UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED, ALL RIDES (not club meetings) BEGIN AT THE NORTH SIDE OF BUC-EE'S IN NEW BRAUNFELS.

Membership fees are $25 per motorcycle operator if joining the club Dec through June (incls a club t-shirt), $15 if joining July through Nov (no t-shirt). Membership renews on January 1st of each year for $25. Associate membership is available for a $15 annual fee for non-riding spouses, significant others and family members. When ready, you can print out and complete our 2021 CRRC Waiver and Application form, which can be found (along with other club information) here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16hO... (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16hOTe_bgxQkBOOLl1zEP6tkPMcJ0H7GJ?usp=sharing)

When completed you can bring them to any meeting, hand them to any ride captain, or mail them to:

Annual Moto-Camping BACK ON! Choke Canyon State Park

Choke Canyon State Park

Update: 13 October. I reserved another site, so we can accommodate up to 24 folks. The RV slot is already taken. Update: 6 October. Reached limit of 16 people. Anyone else will be placed on a wait list and at a later date we'll see about reserving an additional site. Update: 15 September. The RV slots are gone for the two sites (one for Charlie/Janie McPhail and one of Bill Alexander). If anyone else wants to bring a RV, you'll need to reserve another site. Still lots of space for tents. Update: 21 August They have opened up reservations again!!!!!!!!! We have Sites #113 and #114 Each site can have ONE RV up to 45 feet. First come first serve!! You must post in comments if you want one of these RV reservations!! We can have up to 8 people per site. Update: 31 March - due to current uncertainty of parks being open because of Coronavirus, I've moved the Moto-camping to the Fall. Also, for those that reserved a site, you can cancel and get a full refund. I'll reserve sites at a later date. Update: 15 March - KSU, Buc-ees on Northside Route: https://trips.furkot.com/ts/EhgM3g Day ride on 22 November: TBD We have 2 campsites right next to each other. Each campsite can hold 8 people. Everyone must pay entrance fee then we will divide up the total camp costs by the number of folks camping. I think entrance fee is $5 per day unless you have a pass. Total for all campsites is approx $110. The cost is $22 each night plus the park entry fee. I reserved RV sites and they will take an RV up to 45 feet and tents...one RV slot is already taken. If we have more RVs going, they will need to reserve another site...there are several available next to us. I've reserved sites # 113 & 114.
