What we’re about
We organise regular social and networking gatherings, learning and fun events.
This is a group for anyone interested in meeting our community of learners, willing to develop and practice their communication and leadership skills in a fun, positive, safe and supportive environment while working through projects and assignments in a variety of disciplines.
All our events are open to guest whether they are club meetings, coaching sessions, training or workshops.
Toastmasters Belgium is a non-profit association based in Belgium. We are composed of a network of 26 local clubs. Some of them they have their own meet up group.
Thanks to the Toastmasters method, our members become confident public speakers. Have a look at this illustrative YouTube video by one of our member clubs.

We all know that reading books can make you wiser, but you can get a lot more out of a book if you are involved. This is particularly true of personal development books.
These workshops, based on the books “How to Be More Interesting”, by Edward de Bono, and “Communication And Coaching Strategies To Deal With Difficult People”
Monica Dimitriu, the author of “…Deal With Difficult People”herself, will lead the workshop on developing humour.
(Don’t worry if you’ve not read the books yet, you can still attend!)If you were thinking reading a joke book is the best way to catalyse your ability to be humourous… think again.
Jack Gilbey, stand-up comedian in Brussels, will show you how using Edward de Bono’s book can give you a razor sharp wit.
Afterwards, Monica Dimitriu, certified NLP coach, will give you one of the most valuable tools to deal with one of the most challenging (and frequently occurring!) scenarios in modern life – how to best go about situations involving difficult people!
