Let's celebrate the full moon in March with a drum circle!

Everyone is welcome, at any level of interest and ability! Please bring a drum or another instrument, if you have one (or more) and wish to play and/or share. Folks wanting to dance, hoop, spin, or just move to the music in their own way are wanted, too! Kids are very welcome. Please do watch out for your little ones in the proximity of spinning hoops, staffs, poi, etc.

Thanks so much to Cristal of Boxcar Toy Store ( https://www.facebook.com/boxcartoys ), who is again lending us many small Nino frame drums as well as a variety of other small percussion instruments to use!

You might want to bring a chair, if you have an easily transportable one. Also, if you think you may get hungry, bring something for yourself to eat! There are restaurants across the street, but sometimes folks find they don't want to leave for a bite... There is ample parking in the lots on each side of the park, and there are free-standing public restrooms along the sidewalk to the southeast of the park.

We will go for as long as folks care to stick around. We usually have an ebb and flow of people, with a second wave sometimes after the small children have departed for the evening.

Please feel free to bring/invite as many friends as you wish! There's a lot of space. (The grass right around the hardscaped area in the center tends to become very soggy, so I advise everyone to avoid treading on the lawn there unless they are wearing rain boots.)

To date, this event has always been free, since we are using a free public space. Any small contributions towards the Meetup fee would be gladly accepted, but certainly not expected.
