Mohamed graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in Computer Systems Engineering, with academic emphasis in artificial intelligence and image processing. Pre-seed funding brought Mohamed to Dubai in 2013 to begin working on the movement recognition engine under the current holding company name, KinTrans. In 2016, he and his cofounder moved the company to Dallas. In 2017, they joined the Capital Factory ecosystem where they are happy to call home today. KinTrans won numerous recognitions including Seed Stars World regionals for the Middle East, Innovator Show’s Best in Category in the UAE, Forbes Middle East Youth Entrepreneur, the 2017 Texas regional winner of 1776’s Challenge Cup, and a $100k grant as a Global Innovator from Expo 2020, the upcoming world’s fair in Dubai. The linedanceAI platform will be released in Q2 2019. It is designed to automate the management, building and validation of human movement and gestures to produce accurate, unbiased training data and models at enterprise scale.
