What we're about

Less that 25% of Oregon High schools offer CS/Programming classes. TEALS through Microsoft Philanthropies pairs up software developer volunteers with individual classroom teachers. A group of four volunteers go into the classroom first period every morning (each volunteer group goes two times a week) and teaches computer science while the classroom teacher learns alongside their students. 97% of classroom teachers can teach CS classes on their own after two years.
