CNC Machining Session

Details
Separate from the regular 3D printing session, this session will cover a lot of the other tools that can benefit from Computer Numerical Control. This session is NOT a good introduction to the space and there will be no tours running.
However, if you have an interest in CNC milling, laser cutting or plotting, this is the session for you.
There will be a short, 20-30 minute presentation on an aspect of CNC operation each session. It may be a general presentation about operational theory or specific instructions on using a piece of software.
The HackerSpace has a range of tools (aside from 3d printers) that use CNC, including our mini-mill, laser cutter and the hackCNC project.
For more information about what's happening each session, check http://hackmelbourne.org or ask on our google group mailing list.
Our location is a short walk from Glenferrie train station. Car parking at Hawthorn town hall.
