Adobe Photoshop is probably the most well known and best digital imaging program on the market today. Its complexity, however, makes mastering it a long and painful challenge. What many people do not realize is that within Photoshop is another very powerful program. Its name is Adobe Camera Raw (ACR). Adobe Camera Raw is much easier to learn and master when compared to Photoshop. And it is a fantastic tool for editing JPG, RAW, and TIFF images.
Above are a few BEFORE and AFTER images that were processed entirely in Adobe Camera Raw.
The current version of Photoshop (which includes ACR) can be obtained through Adobe, but on a subscription basis only. The cost is about $10 per month. Please note that owning Photoshop is not a requirement for taking this seminar. Also, no previous experience with ACR or Photoshop is necessary for taking this seminar.
You will receive a handout upon arrival to this Meetup. It will contain most of the information presented during the seminar, thereby allowing you to spend less time taking notes and more time listening and participating in class.
We will be meeting in the café at the Glastonbury Barnes & Noble Bookstore. You will be able to recognize my table by the one or two portable monitors attached to my laptop computer. My cell phone number is[masked].
Please note that no refunds are allowed unless the seminar is cancelled. Also, switching from one seminar to another is not allowed. I need to know the exact number of attendees in a seminar to determine whether or not I can afford to run it. Thanks.
By the way, I do 99% of my editing in Adobe Camera Raw without ever going into Photoshop itself.
Hope to see you there.
