What we're about

All of our members have the option to be organizers! Just start coming to meetups and let me know that you want to organize. It's a fun hobby and great way to meet people.

This group is for anyone looking to socialize in the great outdoors. Frequent easy to moderate walks will be planned during the week in the beautiful parks and nature preserves in Connecticut. These walks will be non-threatening, easy to moderate in difficulty, and will not require a big investment in hiking equipment. The plan is to build a group of friends who meets regularly with the common interest of getting outside and learning about nature. We'll also plan evening socials, dinners, and any other activities in which members are interested. This will be a member-guided group and suggestions for walks and activities will be encouraged. All ages are welcome!

The $12 yearly fee is designed to build a committed membership of loyal participants. The fee also ensures that you have an equal say in our agenda and planned activities.
