What we're about

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is a not so new method of voting which insures that the winning candidate receives majority support (at least 50% +1) of the votes cast. Maine voters recently implemented RCV in their state. It was a tremendous success. Unfortunately, many elections are determined by a plurality (most total votes) which, in multi candidate elections, often produces a winner who was not the first choice of a majority of voters. RCV fixes that and returns democracy to the electorate.

This is a non-partisan effort to bring Ranked Choice Voting to Connecticut. It favors neither major party and insures that 3rd Party and Independent candidates have a fighting chance of winning.

Initial organizational meetings will be scheduled soon.
