Business Class - find out for FREE what customers pay extra for
Details
Business Class: You are invited to get for FREE what people pay EXTRA for...
Just like an airline – here’s your opportunity to get all the fancy upgrades of Business Class, but at no extra cost.
We aren’t flying a plane though – YOU are flying your business!
Just like flying a plane, a business needs a good base, systems and processes, maintenance, and careful navigation. Bad weather (eg the Covid economy) can see you needing to adjust your course or perhaps change destination altogether.
How do you do this?
What do you need to know?
How do you improve?
Wouldn’t it be great to get the answers to your specific business problems directly from an industry expert?
This is NOT just ANOTHER boring Zoom meeting!
Our industry experts aren’t here to talk AT you – they are here to talk WITH you.

For our first Business class event, we have Sally Eberhardt coming along to talk about how you don’t have to be an Extravert to be Great at Networking.
Communication, connection, and collaboration are values that author, speaker, copywriter and mentor Sally Eberhardt holds close to her heart. With a diverse background including agriculture, small business and market research, she is a champion of introverts, keen photographer, and even had a brief career as a magician’s assistant.
As the author of 'Pain-free Networking for Introverts', Sally helps her fellow introverts make the journey from being uncertain and anxious about networking events to confident and effective at networking so they can enjoy the many benefits and opportunities that good relationships and connections bring.
Key Takeaways:
- Introverts have networking superpowers – and uncovering them is FUN
- A networking checklist – your ‘cheatsheet’ for every stage of networking from choosing where to network to following up.
- ‘It’s not about you’ – how this one simple realisation takes the pain out of networking
You'll see on the night why we've asked Sally to pilot our first Business Class event. It's the first in a series of 10 weekly sessions run as part of our Certificate IV in Marketing Communications class next term.
The Format:
20 min TEDx style talk followed by questions from our International Students studying Certificate IV in Marketing Communications. Students will interview the guest as part of their learning experience, looking for real-world solutions for the businesses they work for. We’ll also take questions from the live audience simulcasts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. RSVP to get these links
Background:
You are invited to join International students in our Certificate IV in Marketing Communications class to see what students from around the world come to study in Oz.
Each week this term we have invited industry expert guest lecturers to talk to the class about what customers will pay for. We’ll also discuss what people are willing to pay extra for, to help businesses take off, even in uncertain times.
This will be a structured lesson, but it’s not just our guests talking about their expertise. They want to talk to you. We want to know what your biggest issues are, and what problems you need solving.
We know things are hard right now. How would you feel if life were just a little easier?
The Students:
International students in our Certificate IV in Marketing Communications class are currently undertaking the units BSBMKG419 Analyse consumer behaviour, and BSBCRT401 Articulate, present and debate ideas.
Covid19 means they must now do 100% online. Already isolated from the Australian population in segregated classrooms, our students are learning how to connect online and offline with other students, as well as prospective employees, and learn how to do a marketing webinar that is not the same old boring zoom call people have become used to.
