Picnic in Central Park (Potluck Style)

Hey Everyone,

If you do not have better plans .. . .. Join us for a "Pot Luck Picnic" in Central Park. If the weather is clear.. .. .. THE PICNIC IS ON. PLEAE BRING A SMALL FOOD ITEM TO SHARE. This is our first fair weather meetup that is free, easy to get to, and very sociable.

If you joined this group to get out and have some fun meeting other people, this is a chance to do just that. At 11:30 AM WE WILL START OUR "WHO ARE YOU?" FORMAT. This will give everyone a chance to tell the group a little about themselves. Starting with your childhood, and cultural upbringing, we will each have approximately 5-6 minutes to talk about "who we are".

I love this format because we all get to meet each other at the same time. I am always amazed at the people that we are, the places that we have been and the things that we have done in our lifetimes.

What Stuff to Bring?

Bring whatever you think would be appropriate for a park. A towel to lay on, sunscreen, a frisbee, etc. & don't forget to bring something comfortable to sit on. The rest rooms are close by. Please check the meetup site time by time for the updates.

If you get there late I'll keep my phone on and, as always, try to stand out by doing whatever I can for attention.

Can I Get Drunk and Bring a Puppy?

Here is general information for the park rules:
Alcohol is prohibited in Central Park. You can read the park's rules on dogs.
If it rains... As of now it looks like the weather will be alright, so the meetup will go on as planned no matter what, rain or shine. If for some reason it starts pouring, we will take our picnic somewhere else and eat in shelter.
