About us

What does it mean to live a good life? How do we navigate a noisy, complicated world while staying true to ourselves?
Welcome to Everyday Philosophers: a Cambridge-based community of curious minds who seek out timeless wisdom and put it into action to transform our lives.
To us, a philosopher isn't someone who hoards trivia like a party trick. A true philosopher is a seeker—someone willing to be vulnerable, let their assumptions be challenged, and allow new insights to actually change them. Embracing wisdom takes courage, especially amidst life’s unpredictable curveballs. And when things get chaotic, it helps to be in good company which is why we organize in-person gatherings.

#### What Our Gatherings Look Like

We meet across Greater Boston, often at our Porter Square home base. One week we’re diving into guided dialogues on courage, happiness, or human nature; another, we’re dissecting the core themes of a great film, or simply sharing a meal to build real, lasting friendships. Whatever the evening holds, the aim remains the same: ditching the small talk to explore what truly matters.

#### Come Question With Us

You don’t need a degree in Plato or life all figured out to join. If you find yourself asking "why," love challenging your own perspective, and want friends who care about living with purpose, you’re already an everyday philosopher.
Come pull up a chair at our next gathering.
