In 2017, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) commissioned the research study, Association Content Strategies for a Changing World. Carrie Hane, Dina Lewis, and Hilary Marsh were the lead researchers for the study. Carrie and Dina will share their findings with us, including the 17(!) tactics they defined to measure content strategy adoption and the content strategy maturity model that evolved from the study.
While associations were the focus of the research, the study results are a rich resource for commercial and federal entities, too. No matter who your members, constituents, or clients are, recognizing and addressing their pain points is key to a successful content strategy practice. Practical governance policies, tips for getting executive buy-in, and tactics for guiding a content strategy journey will be shared. Come learn with us!
Carrie Hane is the founder of Tanzen, which provides content operations training, facilitation, and coaching and the co-author of Designing Connected Content: Plan and Model Digital Products for Today and Tomorrow.
Dina Lewis, CAE, is the founder of Distilled Logic. She also hosts Content Forum to help association and nonprofit executives learn about content strategy, and manages Review My Content to help them find the services and tools to plan and execute their strategy.
