Lessons learned in building CI/CD for Serverless Architectures

The goals of CI/CD are clear; but the reality of implementing CI/CD has traditionally faced many challenges. In particular, infrastructure provisioning can be very challenging in most environments.

The advent of serverless architectures has changed the equation. In this talk we will see how a serverless architecture is ideally suited for integration with CI/CD. We will also talk about some of the challenges that arise when implementing CI/CD for serverless infrastructure.

SPEAKER BIO:
Anthony Cheng is currently a Data Engineer working at an AdTech startup that is funded by Alphabet. He has a DevOps background with years of cloud/infrastructure experiences. Past experiences include working for a few start-ups, large enterprises, ISPs, cloud service providers. He has also completed various projects for the Canadian government (including the House of Commons).
