Facilitation Lab w/ Larissa Menocci

Control the Room is a community of facilitators spanning many different facilitation styles and systems. Facilitation Lab is our weekly event where we create a safe place to explore, adapt, and practice facilitation approaches and methods.

Join us as a participant and learn through connecting with others or signup to lead a session and try out a new method for the first time. During COVID we accelerated our monthly meetups to occur weekly in support of the transition to virtual facilitation and adapting to online. Whatever your learning objectives may be, we are here to support you.

Each week we feature a guest to guide us through an experience, the entire group critiques them, and then as time permits, we run an open mic style facilitation jam.

This week on the mike we have special guest co-host facilitators, Larissa Menocci & Adam Ambrozy of MakeTeamWork, where they activate great cultures facilitating growth through active participation in teams. Here's a little more about this week's guests:

Larissa is a communication professional, strategist, and human connection designer. She is an expert on how to use Design Thinking for team development. Since 2011 she has facilitated hundreds of workshops in three continents and remotely, leading tens of teams to business success. Larissa is a Hyper Island and Berlin School of Creative Leadership alumna and continuously strives to make people work together better. Adam is a multi-awarded former strategy executive converted into a tech entrepreneur, innovation strategist, coach, and speaker. In the last ten years, he helped develop many successful teams for clients like Lidl International, Naspers Group, Audi, Etisalat, European Commission. Hyper Island Alumnus, lived in 9 countries, making cultural immersion and cross-cultural team development the center of his professional life. We're excited to welcome both to the Lab this week!
