Building a Python Microservice
Details
Heitor Lessa from AWS will visit us and demonstrate how to build a Python Microservice, live and ready for production. In this session, we will create a Serverless backend for a front-end built on VueJS from local development to deployment using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless Application Model, SAM Local, System Manager Parameter Store, CodeStar and more. You'll learn how to use CodeStar and SAM for fast prototyping, a few tricks from the Serverless Applications Lens document while we build including load testing to better understand Lambda environment execution and performance observations.
Following this, we have a special treat for our community: a full hands-on AWS Serverless Workshop also by Heitor. Capacity for the workshop is limited, so please note that you have to additionally register on a first come, first server base here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/aws-serverless-workshop-tickets-43144837370
