Blockchain Hands-on workshop in Copenhagen

You are invited to join the hands-on Blockchain workshop on June 15th at Rainmaking Loft.

Here IBM will walk you through the technical part of Blockchain.

Blockchain is a shared, immutable ledger for recording the history of transactions. It fosters a new generation of transactional applications that establish trust, accountability and transparency—from contracts to deeds to payments. In this workshop you will understand the technical background for why Blockchain is opening up for a new paradigm in transactional security.

At the workshop you will be able to work hands-on with Blockchain via Bluemix and Github.

There are only a limited amount of seats available since we cannot be too many on the day. Register already now to get a seat reserved for you.

• Set up the development environment (Go)

• Launch a blockchain network on Bluemix (Free plan, 4 nodes + membership service)

• Deploy a chaincode (A predefined very simple chaincode)

• Send transactions

• Query the ledger, experiment with the blockchain

• Create a new chaincode (very simple asset ownership recording)

• Deploy the new chaincode

• Experiment the changes

Prerequisites:

Please bring your own laptop (preferred option, because you will be able to continue after the session to work on Bluemix.

At or before the session please establish a Bluemix account and a github account (all free). Github is for the ability to write a smart contract and to deploy on the Blockchain.

When: June 15 from 9-15 (Breakfast from 8.30 and lunch included).
