What we're about

Our purpose is to educate about Ethereum and Web3 related technologies. This includes how to apply the technology and politics/ethics around it, as well as learning to build decentralized applications. We invite the most interesting companies within these fields to present their projects, as well as gather relevant experts and facilitate debates. We always leave some time at the end of each meeting for networking, so that our attendees can get as direct access to the people building this technology as possible.

Anybody interested in Blockchain technology and Web3 will find something interesting. Our events cover topics from the very basic questions to more in-depth discussions and presentations. We are not a trading community, but we welcome people from all industries and from all walks of life.

Our community is organizing:

- Meetups on any topic relevant to our community
- Larger Townhall events bringing our community together at large

We are also planning to organize:

- A yearly ETH Copenhagen hackathon

We want to make our events as relevant to the community as possible, so it’s really important to us that you give us feedback on our events. Talk to our members at our meetings, or reach out to the meetup organizers if there is a topic you would like covered, or if you have an idea on how we can improve.

Want to help us? Feel free to reach out to the organizers. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.

7 years anniversary meetup

Needs a location

On July 30th Ethereum turned 7 years old. 14 days earlier our dear meetup group turned 7. We want to celebrate this with an informal hangout where we can talk about what the last 7 years of Ethereum has meant to us and the impact it has had and we can talk about where the next 7 years will bring Ethereum.

Currently, the plan is to meet at a bar with a nice outside terrace so that we hopefully can enjoy some nice August weather. One of our very first sponsors, brainbot technologies, has said that they will pay for the first round or two.

For now, we suggest meeting at Cafe Langebro. We've gone to this place several times after our past meetups, so we figured it could be a good place. The location might change though, so keep an eye out for that.

We hope to see you there! It would especially be nice to see some of the people who've been at some of the early meetups!
