What we're about

Meet other developers, product owners, designers and sales people who use aspects of Extreme Programming in their day to day work-- agencies and product companies alike.

Extreme programming (XP) is a software development methodology which is intended to improve software quality and responsiveness to changing customer requirements. Elements of extreme programming include: programming in pairs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pair_programming) or doing extensive code review (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_review), unit testing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_testing) of all code, avoiding programming of features until they are actually needed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_aren%27t_gonna_need_it), a flat management structure, code simplicity and clarity, expecting changes in the customer's requirements as time passes and the problem is better understood, and frequent communication with the customer and among programmers.

The CPH Extreme Programming Meetup has a particular interests in discussing these elements, how to introduce them, practice them, or even grow them from what they are today!

eXtreme Tuesday Klub

Online event

A regular Copenhagen meeting (monthly) for XP newbies, practitioners, and experts.

We meet remotely and start at 5pm CEST, but there are often a few of us popping into the room to chat before then.

We have room to schedule two 30 min talks each month, but if we don't have scheduled talks we'll run the event in an unconference style (http://unconference.net/) taking topics at the start and organizing around them.

This event is a good place to practice presentations or experiment with practices (like mobbing?), or to discuss articles, so please let us know if you want a meeting with a more specific focus.
